Third Anglo-Mysore struggle commenced in 1790 in which British made an alliance with Marathas and Nizam this alliance defeated Tipu at his capital Seringapatam in which he signed a humiliating treaty on twenty second of March 1972. Fourth Anglo-Mysore conflict proved to be the quit of Tipu Sultan’s rule this war started whilst Tipu Sultan once more took help from the French and stared to revitalize his forces which had been taken into consideration as violation of treaty and made British attack Mysore in 1798.
